What Are Chakras

ABOUT THE SEVEN POWER CENTERS
According to eastern understanding, Chakras (pronounced Sharr-kras), exist on the surface of the spiritual double of man.  The word Chakra means a wheel or disc.  The Chakras rotate and vibrate and represent our energy force centers.  Energy flows in and out of our Chakras.  They are receptors and transmitters of energy.  It is believed that these energy centers interact with the body's endocrine and lymphatic system. 
Universal Life Force Energy flows through the top of the head and down the Chakras, nurturing our bodies with seven distinct kinds of energy. Each energy is essential to our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical development and well being.  This is our home for a conscious sense of universal interconnectedness.

Our lives and behavior can be very influenced by our Chakras according to whether they are in balance; out of balance; over active or underactive.

THERE ARE 7 MAIN CHAKRAS
1st Chakra is the Root Chakra
It's color is red and is located at the base of the spine
This is our survival center, our place for grounding

2nd Chakra is the Sacral Chakra
It's color is Yellow and is located just beneath the navel
This is our sexual center, vitality, self-esteem, relationships and desire

3rd Chakra is the Solar Plexus Chakra
It's color is Orange and is located below the diaphragm
Center for personal power, dominance, strength and fear

4th Chakra is the Heart Chakra
It's color is Green and is located at the center of the heart
Center for expression of love, love of self and others, unconditional love, compassion, peace and forgiveness

5th Chakra is the Throat Chakra
It's color is Blue and is located at the base of the throat
Center for self expression, truth, communication

6th Chakra is the Third Eye Chakra
It's color is Indigo and is located at the brow
Center for inner vision and understanding, inspiration and spiritual awakening, clairvoyance and intuition

7th Chakra is the Crown Chakra
It's color is white or violet
Center of spiritual awareness, consciousness of oneness, connection to the Higher Self, to inner guidance and to the Divine

There are a number of modalities that serve as channels for self healing.  Bliss Awakening works with Reiki energy  allowing the passage of Universal Life Force Energy to flow from the hands of the practitioner to the recipient.  Often during a Reiki session, blocked or unbalanced chakras are identified. Bliss Awakening also works with Angels and their loving guidance both hands on and hands off and through meditation both present and distance.

Your chakras are entry gates to your Aura and so, both are interrelated.  Bliss Awakening offers Aura Cleansing and Chakra Healing as separate and more specific healing modality.
