I have had the wonderful opportunity to be of service to others for many years. With over 30 years experience as a Personal Trainer, teaching hundreds of people how best to take care of themselves, improve their fitness, their general health, their athletic capabilities and competitive capabilities, but most importantly....'themselves' .
I've experienced long term relationships with my clients, taking our 'teacher - client' status to a very intimate association of kindred spirits. With close friendships that stem from within, we have been able to then evolve together beyond the weight room and into the spiritual realm.
During this time, I have also been blessed to become a part of a rather large pack of sled dogs, they are my furry family. (http://AngelsInFurCoats.blogspot.com) Outside of being a Personal Trainer, I have been working with sled dogs for the past 16 years or so. Learning from them as they have learned from me, how best we can collaborate our skills and knowledge and seek adventure on the trails that surround our home. I have felt humbled and grounded through their never ending unconditional love and devotion. Many lessons learned from these most sensitive old souls. I have worked with them in helping them evolve into gifted and pationate four legged athletes, obedience dogs and just the very best of companions. But most importantly, they have helped me evolve as a person, a teacher, a trainer....and ultimately as a spiritual being.
Whilst the presence of Angels has been so apparent in my life for many, many years, the first recognition of Angels in my life came through my dogs.
I stumbled upon my spiritual path many years ago, but never recognized it for what it is today. It was a huge awakening. There was loss, physical pain and discomfort, emotional distress, but most of all.... an incredible learning experience and journey. My dogs played a huge part in opening up my soul and spirit in finding myself and understanding that my path was also to include the honor of assisting many with the healing of themselves and their own spiritual awakening. It has been about 10 years since my own awakening.
As I continue my path, to be of service, I feel blessed to experience so much unconditional love and compassion and so in return, always, always.... I have much gratitude.
