Perched on a rock for all to see, a large piece of river ice. I took this photo as I passed by with my team of sleddogs. A quiet day, it was snowing and nobody was on the trail. It was still. This single piece of river ice, just resting on it's rock, perfectly balanced. You could see it, or maybe not. I knew it was there and so, I was able to capture it's beauty so that you may see it too.

This Mornings' Meditation
I often meditate several times a day. No specific time, I simply know when I need to and so, I go with that feeling and trust the moment. Today's first meditation brought about clarity and recognition of one of my spirit guides. During a recent gathering of Master Reiki Practitioners for a "Meet Your Guides" meditation, this guide came to me during this group meditation, but I did not recognize who he was, all I received was a silouhette and a name. Today he made himself known to me. A family member. A joyous connection.

Today's Bliss
If Bliss truly is in 'the now', then our days must have many moments of Bliss don't you think?
Waking up to the early morning chorus of my sleddogs. A very harmonic sound that clearly tells the world all about their moment of Bliss. In 'the now' , they are all united, a family, a pack, welcoming the dawn and a new day. This was my day's first Bliss.
